Overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the Sicilian coast, the Antica Tonnara di Scopello hosted an event where music, scenery and conviviality blended together naturally, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for the bride and groom and their guests.

For the occasion, Talking Ties performed as a sextet, accompanying the day’s most elegant moments with a repertoire of American jazz, timeless standards and refined sounds inspired by the great international swing tradition. The band’s warm sound blended perfectly with the scenery of the tonnara and the relaxed rhythm of the Sicilian coast.

Making the experience even more engaging was the presence of the Roaming Band, which, with its repertoire inspired by the New Orleans tradition, brought the venue to life whilst mingling directly with the guests. With brass instruments, infectious rhythms and roaming performances, the music accompanied the guests across the terraces overlooking the sea and through the most picturesque corners of the tuna fishery.

The fusion of the elegance of American jazz and the energy of New Orleans street bands created an authentic and international soundtrack, perfectly in tune with one of Sicily’s most iconic venues.
